Course Curriculum
ICPL CAR 147 (Basic) Training Organization, will conduct the basic training in category (B1.3 & B2) as per CAR-66 licence requirements under approval from DGCA, Ministry of Civil Aviation, Govt of India.
Duration:Two & Half Years full time. The duration of the course will be consisting of five semesters. All five semesters of training will be a combination of theory and practical classes. The student will undergo practical/hands-on experience on live Aircraft/Helicopter at the maintenance facilities of Aircraft Maintenance Organisation (Indocopters Private Ltd).
Intake Capacity: Maximum 30 students in each stream - 1. Mechanical 2. Avionics Educational Qualification: The applicant must have passed 10+2 examination in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognized board or university or its equivalents.
Mode of Training: On campus Classes.
Admission: Since Indocopters Private Limited is conducting the training course in collaboration with Jamia Millia Islamia University, the entire induction mechanism/admission proceedings have been entrusted to the Jamia University management. (Refer their web Portal: for further details).
Streams: Mechanical (B1.3) and Avionics (B2)
Indocopters Private Ltd.: will be offering Basic AME training in two Categories i.e. B 1.3 (Helicopter Turbine) and Category B2 (Avionics) in line with the DGCA’s regulations as per CAR 147(Basic) Issue 1 dated 27 Dec. 2017.
Category B1.3 (Helicopter Turbine): DGCA License holder to issue certificates for release to service following the maintenance performed on the Helicopter Structure, Turbine Engine, mechanical and electrical systems, work on avionics system requiring simple tests to prove their serviceability. Category B2 (Avionics): DGCA License holder to issue certificates of release to service after maintenance on avionic and electrical systems, avionics and electrical system within engine and mechanical systems requiring only simple tests/inspections/checks in order to affirm the status of their serviceability.
